HAKO-MED HORIZONTAL THERAPY
Our clinic uses the Hako-Med ProElecDT 2000 to provide professionally administered electrotherapy through carefully placed electrodes and manufacturer-designed treatment programs.
Each patient’s health history, current concerns, treatment goals, electrode placement, program selection, intensity, and tolerance are considered when preparing a session.
Hako-Med therapy may be incorporated into an individualized care plan to support comfort and nerve health.
HOW HORIZONTAL THERAPY WORKS
The Hako-Med ProElecDT 2000 delivers controlled electrical stimulation through electrodes placed on the body. During a manufacturer-designed program, the device varies the electrical frequency while maintaining a controlled level of stimulation.
Electrode placement, program selection, and intensity are chosen according to the patient’s needs, treatment plan, comfort, and response. Patients may notice gentle tingling or pulsing, and the intensity can be adjusted throughout the session.

POTENTIAL CARE GOALS

COMFORT SUPPORT
Hako-Med therapy may be incorporated into an individualized care plan to help manage discomfort. Individual experiences and responses vary.

MUSCLE RELAXATION
Electrical stimulation may be used to help relax muscle tension or spasm when appropriate for the patient’s condition and treatment plan.

PERSONALIZED CARE
Electrode placement, program selection, and intensity are chosen according to each patient’s needs, comfort, tolerance, and response.
Treatment recommendations are based on an individual evaluation. Hako-Med therapy is not appropriate for everyone, and results are not guaranteed.
